Cloned motion gifs

Aren’t gifs brilliant? Simple yet sublime, for nearly twenty years gifs have been mesmerising the internet and challenging perceptions of infinity. These gifs by Turkish artist Erdal Inci continue in this vein. Please note: The following images are large and may take a moment to load. Please be patient.

Like most artists featured on Amazing Stuff, Erdal’s skills are not limited to photography; he is also film-maker, graffiti artist and cloned motion experimenter, as he shows in these shorts, and on his Vimeo page. By using long exposure shots and painstakingly choreographed routines, these beautiful sequences are created. The rest of his breathtaking work can be seen via his Tumblr page.
